How to Find Your Elected Officais (2).docxYou will want to send an email or letter or both to the following:
*Your State Senator
*Your US Senator
*Your State Assembly person
*Your US Congress person
The video above illustrates how easy it is to find the names of these representatives. Go the the website USA.gov, look for the link that says Find Your Elected Officials or words to that effect. A form will appear where you will add your address. Street, City, State, Zip Code.
When you Submit that form, the names of the Federal Officials, The State Officials and the Local Officials will appear. You just click on the names you want and their contact information will appear. You will see their mailing information, email address, website link, Facebook page link, X account link.
Everthing you need will be easy to find simply by clicking on what you want to do or what information you need.
When you receive your Participation Kit, the letters to the EPA and to California CARB are already complete with the mailing addresses and email addresses. For the letters you wish to mail, just add your name, address and signature. For the emails, just copy and paste any information you wish to include.
It is also adviseable to include the name of this website and a link if you have it, to all of the officials you contact so they can visit this site and get the whole message with the videos and graphs.
