Welcome to my Gallery and Personal History.
RV travel has been a major part of my life for decades.
It's not just about the vehicles — it's about freedom, discovery, and the people we meet along the way.
We don't use it that often, but it is available to us and it provides a great getaway when we do.
We may only travel 60 miles away, which is the case when we go to Monterey, CA, but it provides a whole different experience and a change and a mini vacation and new restaurants to visit and new food to try, especially sea food, some even fresh caught. And the chowder!!
We can't afford a second home in Monterey, CA, but we certainly can drive our DIESEL motorhome there (for the time being) and spend 4 or 5 days, sometimes a whole week there, and we do that 4 or 5 times a year.
Below are some photos and memories from my own journey — and why protecting the RV lifestyle matters so much.
The article below is a description of me from someone else's prospective. I am flattered by this puff piece. But I do like it and it is accurate.

The video above is a collection of photos from the travels over past years by the author of this Website, Ed Knott and his wife and best friend Bonnie.
Ed Knott has been part of the RV world for over 40 years — a longtime motorhome owner, traveler, and advocate. In 2010, he purchased his current diesel motorhome, a 2007 Tiffin Allegro Open Road, which now faces costly and unfair restrictions under new California CARB regulations that took effect in 2025.
Now in his 80s and still in good health, Ed continues to drive his motorhome and enjoys frequent short trips with his wife, Bonnie. Monterey, just an hour away, is one of their favorite destinations. They visit four or five times a year, a round trip of only 120 miles each time — about 600 miles annually.
(How much emissions does that really create?)
There’s more.
This 2007 Allegro has only 41,000 miles on it after 18 years — averaging just 2,700 miles per year. That’s not unusual. That’s reality for many RV owners.
For Ed and Bonnie, their motorhome is a second home on wheels, a gateway to enjoying Monterey’s special events like Jazz by the Bay each March and the Italian Festival every September — celebrations they’ve attended for decades, staying 3–4 days each time.
Rather than sit back, Ed decided to step up — launching a grassroots campaign to push back against regulations that threaten the RV lifestyle for thousands of retirees, families, and explorers across the country.
Through this advocacy website, participation kits, letter-writing campaigns, and YouTube outreach, Ed is giving RV owners a way to stand up and be heard.
This isn’t just about one motorhome.
It’s about protecting a way of life, a community, and an industry that fuels freedom.
